Gyümölcsszentelés ünnepén kapta meg a templom udvarában lévő Petőfi emlékházban Nagypeleske Petőfi körtefájának oltványát Csókási-Budaházi Attilától!

Augusztus 6-án, az Urunk színeváltozása ünnepén, a keleti liturgia szerint gyümölcsöt szentelnek. Így a nagypeleskei görögkatolikus templomban is, ahol ifj. Pallai Béla parókus mondott szentbeszédet. Szavait idézve: „Miután a szentelt gyümölcsöt elfogyasztottuk otthonainkban, teljen be a lelkünk gyümölcsökkel: imával, hittel, szeretettel, szolgálattal és békével.”
Ezen a napon adtam át a parókus úrnak , egy leendő Tündérkert első és legfontosabb fájaként Petőfi Körtefáját, a templom udvarában levő Petőfi emlékházban. Plusz aktualitást ad, hogy Petőfi a szatmári esküvőjére menet megállt Nagypeleskén, ahol verse is született.
Az iskolai évnyitóval egybekapcsolt tündérkert-avató szeptember 16-ra várható!

On the feast day traditionally marked by the consecration of fruit, Nagypeleske received a graft of Petőfi's pear tree from Attila Csókási-Budaházi in the Petőfi memorial house in the courtyard of the church!
"Fruit can express that all of creation is for mankind."
On August 6th, the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, fruit is consecrated according to the Eastern liturgy. This is also the case in the Greek Catholic Church of Nagypeleske, where parish priest Béla Pallai Jr. gave a homily. In his words, "After eating the consecrated fruit in our homes, may our souls be filled with fruitfulness: prayer, faith, love, service, and peace."
On this day, I handed over Petőfi's Pear Tree to the priest, as the first and most important tree of a future Fairy Garden, in the Petőfi memorial house in the courtyard of the church. An added relevance is the anecdote that Petőfi stopped in Nagypeleske on his way to his wedding in Szatmár, and here wrote a poem.
The fairy garden inauguration, combined with the opening of the school year is expected to be held on September 16th!
